New York Division

Welcome

Welcome to the web page of the New York Division of Screen Actors Guild.  If you haven’t already done so, the first thing you should do is log in.  Just click on the link above that says “Member Login.” If you have never logged in before, you can follow the link to create a username and password.  Then navigate back to this page and we can continue!

OK, so now you’re logged in.  I’m confident the information you find on our website will be helpful to you as a New York-based SAG actor.

In addition to basic services like the Residuals Tracker and the Pay Dues Online feature, the Guild’s website has a lot to offer.  The column on the left will lead you to many of the great programs and services available to you.  There is the SAG-MPPWF (Motion Picture Players Welfare Fund), the New York Film Society, the NY Conservatory, MOVE and MORE events, and much more.

Additionally, the website can connect you with essential resources such as the SAG Foundation, the Actors Federal Credit Union, Career Transition for Dancers, and The Actors Fund, which can assist you during tough times or just with the day-to-day business of living as a performer in New York City. And don’t forget deals and discounts to find out what perks your Guild card can bring you.

Want more information about projects shooting in the city or close by?  Take a look at our casting notices, which are updated daily and include the monthly Production Schedule.

Keep up with what is going on at the Guild by checking out our list of upcoming events.  You can also look over New York’s Branch News and read our newsletters, which include the printed NY Actor, the electronic SAGazine, and the New York On Location section of the Screen Actor magazine.

Now because we often send important notices directly to you, it’s imperative your email address is on file and current with the Guild.

Of course, we know you often need to contact us with contract or other work-related questions.  Our website lists important numbers at the New York office so you can get to the right department or person quickly.  If you are not sure whom to contact with a particular question, you can call the main line at (212) 944-1030, or even email me at NYPresident@sag.org.  I would love to hear from you about how our Guild is working for you and what we might be able to do better.

In solidarity,
Mike Hodge
