Performance Capture
Seasoned performance capture artists present an explanation of performance capture, give examples of projects that have used the technology, discuss the process from an actor's perspective including similarities to and differences from traditional film/TV performance, address the fears and myths surrounding the technology, discuss where the technology is headed, and address some of the things performers should be aware of regarding contracts, coverage, pay, jurisdiction, etc.

Jigsaw
For the second year, MOVE Hollywood and the New Media Department are offering four sessions of Jigsaw Global Media's Introduction to Digital Media Production. In this seminar, participants learn how to market their productions and gain the tools necessary to understand the process involved in building interactive new media sites and apps.
Senior Buddy Project
This project is in its second year. On April 21, 2011, Sue Schubert and Renee Fieger of the Motion Picture & Television Fund gave an informative and inspiring presentation on how to become a Senior Buddy volunteer and help a senior citizen in need. For those of you who were not able to attend but want information about volunteering, you can still find out about the volunteer opportunities available to fit your interests, schedule and location by emailing movehollywood@sag.org.

TSO Rally and March
MOVE members joined the LA County Federation of Labor in supporting TSO’s (Transportation Security Officers) workers at LAX on December 17, 2009.
Rally and Picket Line to Support Hotel Workers
MOVE members supported Unite-Here and hotel workers at a rally with AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka at the Hyatt Century Plaza Hotel, January 7, 2010.
British Consulate Action to End the Rio Tinto Lockout
MOVE members joined other labor unions to surround the British Consulate in Los Angeles on April 16, 2010, with American flags, a fleet of Teamster trucks, picket lines, and a rally to demand the British government take responsibility to end the Rio Tinto lockout in Boron.
L.A. County Federation of Labor’s “Rally for Jobs”
MOVE members joined AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, and others to “Rally for Jobs” at L.A. City Hall on August 13, 2010.

Rally To Save The American Dream
On February 26, 2011, the Rally to Save the American Dream organized rallies in front of every statehouse and in every major city to stand in solidarity with the people of Wisconsin. MOVE members met fellow union members, the AFL-CIO and other supporters for a rally at L.A. City Hall.
The March For Jobs
On March 26, 2011, MOVE members joined the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor to support the working people of Los Angeles. The March for Jobs highlighted unions who are in contract negotiations.
