Los Angeles (July 27, 2009) - Screen Actors Guild today announced election results for the Portland Branch elections.
Candidates elected from the Portland Branch include:
Doug Baldwin, Council Member at Large (three-year term)
Helena De Crespo, Council Member at Large (three-year term)
George Fosgate, Council Member at Large (three-year term)
Michelle Mariana, Council Member at Large (three-year term)

The House Revenue Committee has killed SB 621. Today, only the Speaker of the Oregon House, Representative Dave Hunt (Clackamas County, District 40) can solve this problem, by asking a House committee to re-open the bill and send it to the floor.

It's time to sign up to be present at the capitol: March 17th - Industry Day
The Oregon film and media industry is making itself visible at the State Capitol on Tuesday, March 17, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. This will include displays as well as availability of film industry members in the Galleria of the capitol building.
