About ITVFest
ITVFest, is a leading festival for independently produced, original television pilots and Web series. This year’s ITVFest will be held at Laemmle's Sunset 5, July 30-August 5. ITVFest submissions have tripled since the organization’s first outing in 2006, including entries from around the globe. In addition to viewing the 53 selections at the ITVFest 2010, guests can attend a variety of daily themed panels about the specific processes of developing television pilots and web series, comprised of Hollywood’s leading voices in the industry.
ITVFest is a non-profit organization with the mission of encouraging change in conventional television and the growth of artistic expression in television and new media. Simultaneously, ITVFest provides local, national and international artistic communities with a public forum for independently produced television pilots. ITVFest receives pilot submissions from around the world in comedy, drama, alternative (reality, animation, talk show, etc) documentary, and web series. By screening the official selections to a live audience, which includes an executive advisory board and extensive network contacts, ITVFest provides a bridge to the inner workings of the television industry and is amongst the top festivals in providing real opportunities for filmmakers.

Center Theatre Group invites you to join them in the complimentary standby line for the opening night performance of BONES on Saturday, July 31st at 8 p.m. at the Kirk Douglas Theatre! They suggest arriving in the standby line an hour or two prior to curtain.
Tickets become available due to cancellations and no-shows, and they would love to have enthusiastic folks to help fill the house. Seating is not guaranteed, but chances are very good. It has been a rare occasion that they have had to turn anyone away.
About the show:
Personal torment and human tragedy becomes art in the deft hands of Dael Orlandersmith, Obie winner (Beauty’s Daughter) and Pulitzer finalist (Yellowman). The rhythm and poetry of her words – juxtaposed against the harsh realities of a family coming to grips with a history of abuse and betrayal – create a powerful narrative for dramatic conflict as three now-strangers meet again: desperately seeking answers and salvation.
This is a take-no-prisoners theatrical experience unlike any other. All seating for BONES will be on the stage amidst the characters and the confrontation and the performance is underscored by two jazz musicians on stage.
To participate in the standby line for BONES on Saturday, July 31st arrive at the Kirk Douglas Theatre anytime before 8 p.m. and join the line to the left of the box office. The Kirk Douglas Theatre is Downtown Culver City at 9820 Washington Blvd. FREE parking is available at City Hall just behind the KDT off of Duquesne.
