SB 264 seeks to reestablish a movie and film infrastructure tax credit program by allowing the current program to be used for the development of additional infrastructure at a time when the state cannot afford it. We believe this will ultimately be harmful to the credit and the entertainment community in Louisiana. Please help defeat this bill by contacting members of the House Ways and Means committee.

It has come to our attention that casting has been taking place in Puerto Rico for a 13 episode series entitled Tales of Latin Lovers, with production planned in Puerto Rico, Cuba, and Los Angeles. Please be advised that the producers of this series have not been in contact with Screen Actors Guild about executing the applicable collective bargaining agreement and, therefore, we must assume that the producers of this program do not intend to execute an agreement with the Guild.

Dear Florida Branch Members,
The SAG Foundation cordially invites you to participate in two rewarding projects that make perfect use of your talents as actors and expressive readers: reading and writing to elementary school students.
BookPALS is the SAG Foundation's core literacy program. BookPALS read at elementary schools near their home on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis, as their schedules allow.
