Screen Actors Guild President’s National Task Force for American Indians is currently seeking interview subjects for a short educational video that will highlight the experiences of Native actors in the entertainment industry. An essential goal of this project is to capture the incredible diversity of this community, and we are determined to have this diversity represented in the interviewees themselves.
With several interview subjects already selected, we are looking for American Indian SAG members in good standing who identify as one or more of the following:
- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and/or Transgender Performer
- Performer with a Disability
- Performer of Mixed Ethnic Heritage
- Performer who donates his/her time and energy to positively impact the American Indian community.
The on-camera interviews will be conducted in Los Angeles over a few days early to mid July 2010 with the exact schedule to be determined. You must live in the Los Angeles area or be willing to travel at your own expense. To be considered you must upload your most current information and self-identify as American Indian on iActor.
